The history, honestly told
MAP Productions Ltd was a small New Zealand production company. GoPro's HERO3-era launch film credits "SNOW: MAP Productions Ltd" in its snow segment, and the company's old website — a small, Flash-era page — lived at this address. The site went offline years ago; the credit, and the link in one of YouTube's most-watched video descriptions, stayed.
This domain was re-registered in 2026 to preserve an honest record of that history and to publish original editorial guides about the film and its locations. We are not MAP Productions Ltd, we do not speak for them, and nothing here is endorsed by them. We have not republished their old website content — the historical notes on this site are our own words about publicly available facts.
